Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay with you this week. It was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken (and we have taken MANY!) It was not only relaxing, but fun and exciting catching so many fish! You are the most gracious hosts we have ever encountered. Hey, just thought I’d let you know that we were up at Pike Point Resort this past weekend and had a great time! The fishing was fantastic, the pontoon was really nice and worked out great, the cabin was goo with comfortable beds, and you are great people and love to share any info you have on fishing the lake, or anything else – you were great to talk with! We are definitely thinking about coming back there again. We were in cabin #9 and it actually worked out great being down there because the kids could play at the playground and we didn’t feel like we were bothering anybody with noisy energetic kids. Just wanted to let you know what a marvelous time my two friends and I had last week at the resort. I was just speaking with one of them yesterday and he said how wonderful the entire experience was-not just the fishing (even though they both said they have never caught fish like that before). The scenery and animals, such as the eagles and osprey, were fun to watch go about their work. We also enjoyed going down to the dock after dark to look at the stars. Brenda and I had a great time this spring with our 1st trip to Northern Minnesota from Iowa. We loved Pike Point Resort and we would like to book as soon as possible for June 2012. Thank you for making our very first family vacation so memorable! As I write this Ruby can hardly keep her little eyes open as she watches her movie, sunburned, full and worn out. You made all of us feel so welcome here that I don’t think there was a thing that we could have asked for that you didn’t have or beat us to getting. Arrived on my 64th birthday. Our family joins us and we celebrate “life” for 3 glorious days together. Our hearts are filled with gratitude to Sister Sue and Scott and their beautiful resort.
